Head of Design: Alex Lister

Alex Lister studied photography as part of his degree at Oxford Brookes University. He later took a diploma in web design at the Marbella Design Academy in Spain. He has worked as a head of marketing in London and as a principle graphic designer for a creative web agency in Gibraltar. He now manages iDesignandTranslate alongside Lucy Doyle and is responsible for web design and photography.

Head of Translation: Lucy Doyle

Lucy Doyle studied Spanish for her degree at the University of Roehampton. She has lived in many parts of the world including Cadiz, Hong Kong, Peru & Gibraltar. Her experience includes teaching in South America, and using her languages working for different companies on the Costa del Sol. She currently is responsible for managing the translation side of the business.

Web Designer: Jim Montgomery

Jim is a self-taught web designer whose impressive portfolio covers a very wide range of companies and areas. His technical expertise includes working in XHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, ASP, JQuery and Actionscript. His philosophy is clean, punchy and targeted with deadly accuracy. Jim has built an excellent relationship with past clients, which is a testimony to his efficiency and skill.

Translator (French / German / English): James Taylor

James studied French & German at Oriel College, Oxford. Since then he has worked in various capacities to do with languages, but now provides the backbone of our north European language translation service, either translating into English or administering translation into those languages. His extensive training and career practice thankfully have not stepped in the way of his admirable talent as a singer and songwriter – if only we had a piano in the office!

Translator (Spanish / Portuguese / English): Tom Robinson

Tom received a first at St Peter’s College, Oxford in Spanish and Portuguese. He currently works part-time for iDesignandTranslate, splitting his time between Europe and South America. His passion is for travel and for mojitos, and his enthusiasm is unsurpassed for either. Tom’s second favourite thing after mojitos is finest Brazilian picanha steak, brought sizzling to your table at one of Rio’s churrascarias.

Copywriter: Juliette Daniels

Juliette studied English at Southampton, before undertaking a postgraduate course in proof reading and editing. She also works part time for iDesignandTranslate while also pursuing her dream as novel writer.
